A lovely maid got me towels when I went out to the pool late Thursday afternoon, in between rainstorms. I wish I would have asked her name. She was so polite and had to go a great distance to get the towels. Please compliment her if you can determine who she was.

Our stay at the Windward Passage Hotel more than exceeded our expectations. We knew before arriving that the rooms could use some updating, but the kindness of your staff more than made up for that small, superficial, fact.

During our stay in St. Thomas, I became ill due to dizziness and dehydration as a result of too much exposure to the sun. I was not sure how I would be able to recover soon enough to take the seaplane back to St. Croix the following day . Thanks to Lisa at the front desk who contacted medical personnel who knew how to help me, we were able to make our trip back to St. Croix as planned. Lisa was such a big help to us from the moment we arrived, and we are so appreciative.

In addition to the kindnesses extended to us during my brief illness, we also thought our king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, and the restaurant food was exceptional. I just wish I had felt well enough to go swimming in your pool. Hopefully, I will do so on our next visit.

We will return to the Windward Passage Hotel again... and when we do I will take more care to drink more water and enjoy more of St. Thomas!

As a frequent visitor from St. Croix my stay is always pleasant. This hotel is like home away from home. The place is secured, which helps me feel safe and clean which helps me to unwind when I need to get my rest. The staff is great (friendly, helpful and resourceful). I am afraid if I start naming folks, I may miss someone (and believe me, all these folks are so nice) so many of the staff have made my stay so enjoyable. Therefore, it begins with the gentleman at the security post, then at the front entrance who is awaiting to help me with my bags, the front desk crew ready to ensure I have my requested room, then the housekeepers who makes sure I get that home treatment by providing my request last but not least the friendly folks from the restaurant. I must say in closing the staff here, aims to please. I've been blessed to experience the joy of folks who enjoy their job and know how to make others feel at home in a hotel setting. This is the place you want to stay if you are visiting St. Thomas.

We were very satisfied with our stay in this place. Location is spectacular and the hotel is clean. It has a great view. You can walk to get the ferry and visit Saint John or have more fun, taking the taxi (only $2) to go to Red Hook and get the ferry from there. The beaches are wonderful, our favorite was Trunk Bay in St. John. The people of the USVI are so friendly. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. Lisa Cabrera the nice girl at the front desk, was more than a clerk, she was our tourist guide. She recommended us what to do and which places visit. We really appreciate her help.

My stay at the Winward Passage exceeded my expectations. Accomodations were good, staff very helpful, and location central to everything. My room was in the front--oceanview + close to the street, but very quiet.

My wife and i honeymooned in this hotel for 5 nights. The staff was absolutely incredible. you come to expect certain things in tourist type locations, but they went well above and beyond traditional service. the location is very close to shopping and tons of great restraunts, and only a cab ride away from some of the best beaches on the planet. The staff made us feel at home at all times.

We had a wonderful stay at the Windward Passage and will definately return. I have stayed at WP every year at least once since before when it was a Holiday Inn. It's the best location for what I like to do and I love the fact that my friends can drop me off across the street from their dinghy when its time to check in.

The front desk was most helpful and had much improvement from past years. Thank you and them for making our stay. enjoyable!

I stayed at the Windward Passage hotel and I must admit it was such an wonderful experience.The friendliest staff I've ever came in contact with,especially those working in the Casino!! My stay was such a joy!! I will be staying at the Windward passage hotel everytime in the Virgin Islands.

We thank you for a wonderful stay at your hotel. We have now returned to Norway after three unforgetable weeks in US Virgin Islands.

We really appreciated the hospatility from your staff and a nice and clean room. A great hotel where we got everything we needed. We were lucky to be there during the Carneval, and it was great to be so near everything that was happening. If we are coming back to St. Thomas, we would love to stay by you again. But it is far from Norway, and would probably be a once in a lifetime experience. But maybe we would have the opportunity later, and if so we look forward to see you again.

Your hotel is beautiful and the staff was so helpful. I wish my stay could have been longer but I was between ships, now I am on the Oasis. I will still be visiting your island once a week til May when the ship repositions to a western caribbean route. I enjoyed your great food and a most restful sleep. The staff helped me find local shopping, and even recommended a salon to have a manicure! You are very lucky to have good employees who really care about the guests. I will definitely be returning in the future for a longer stay.

I stayed at the Windward Passage from January 13 - 17, 2010. The hotel was great, the staff friendly, the bar and restaurant very good. It was located close to shopping and resturants and the view of the cruise ships was great. I will stay at the Windward Passage the next time I visit St Thomas.

Our stay at the Windward was wonderful. We were able to check in early; our room was clean, we had plenty of towels and the staff was very accommodating! The weather could have been better but understand no one controls "Mother Nature." We will definitely stay at the Windward when we venture your way again!

Hi good day, I really enjoyed my stay at your hotel, looking forward to my next visit. The hotel look great and the staff was helpful. I just want to give thanks to a waiter from the room service, he explained the bill to me and I thought that was very helpful. I dont remember his name but if you tell him the fellow who was in room 331 on monday night 2/11/2009. But I really enjoyed the stay. My trip was too short so I didnt get to explore the hotel - like the pool and restaurant, but next time I will. Thanks again for a great stay.

I wasn't very fond of the roosters but over all my stay was enjoyable. Everything was within walking distance it was amazing, and the staff was extremely helpful and recommended some nice restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and I really loved everything about my stay each time. I had a good time in the Gaming Center and actually won a few bucks which I spent on some shopping just a few blocks down the road. My favorite thing to do though is sitting out by the pool and catching radiant rays while reading a book. Nice staff.

Honestly my stay exceeded my expectations. I've stayed at Holiday Inns before and the standard was always a bit lower than what I got at the Windward Passage. I had a few minor issues when I was checking in but the front desk staff were extremely polite and took care of it right away. They also sent a nice fruit bowl and bottled water to my room later on the night for the inconvenience. It was a nice tough, loved my stay.

The Hotel is really nice. The staff was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed listening to the live island music in the courtyard at night. There was a nice little cocktail party when we arrived. Everyone was receptive and the rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. I was extremely pleased that our room had a flat screen TV and high-speed internet: A huge upgrade from my last stay, worth every Penny.

I never would have guessed how nice this hotel was. The rooms were very beautiful and clean. I think the most memorable thing for me was the little towel monkey in the room. My kids absolutely loved it. It was different and very entertaining. The only disappointment is that we couldn't take it home, loved the stay.

My husband and I stayed at the lovely Holiday Inn from Nov 6th thru Nov 10th, 2008 and we had an enjoyable stay. The staff was very courteous and our accommodations were excellent. The only problem was the periodic rain we experienced, but aside from that everything was lovely. The Holiday Inn is a beautiful hotel and I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
